El domingo 21 de marzo el Hipódromo Difunta Corre en la localidad de Patquia, recibió el clásico más grande esperado en la primera parte del año, en donde se enfrentaron El Amigo del Stud el Papacito de Chepes, contra la Andariega del Stud Doña Titi de la Rioja Capital, en donde el chepeño se quedo con el triunfo en los 300 metros a pura velocidad.
La Organización fue llevada acaba por los Hnos. Manzanos, con la concertación de Luis López y Gabelo Menen, quienes programaron 14 carreras para la jornada dominguera que se disfruto en amigos y familia, tras prácticamente 20 días sin carreras.
Los resultados de la jornada fueron los siguientes:
